Freelance Web Designer (Tendem Project) – Part-Time Remote

About the Role
Mindrift is seeking a highly skilled Web Designer to join our Tendem project (tendem.ai), focusing on specialized data scraping workflows with an AI + human hybrid system. In this role, you’ll collaborate with AI-driven Tendom Agents, handling repetitive tasks while providing critical thinking, domain expertise, and layout skills to transform briefs and rough drafts into polished, on-brand, web-ready designs.
This part-time remote position is ideal for creative professionals with experience in UI/web design, marketing pages, and digital visual communications.

Key Responsibilities
- Design high-converting one-pagers, pitch-style landing pages, and marketing sites based on textual copy, outlines, or existing drafts.
- Translate brand assets and social media visuals into responsive web layouts, structured components, and sections for developer/no-code implementation.
- Prepare and securely package production-ready files (Figma frames, exports, specs) for seamless handoff.
- Maintain absolute visual consistency across interactive web pages, static PDFs, and social materials.
- Enforce layout quality standards by verifying responsiveness, spacing, clarity, and modern web trends prior to delivery.
Requirements
Experience & Education
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, HCI, or related fields is a plus.
Key Skills & Expertise
- 2+ years of experience in UI/Web Design, Marketing Design, or Digital Communications (required).
- Proficient Figma user (scalable layouts, auto-layouts, design systems).
- Conversion-focused design—expertise in pitch-style landing pages, clarity, spacing, and modern trends.
- Developer handoff expertise (Webflow, Framer, specification documentation).
- Cross-platform consistency—ensuring web pages match brand assets in PDFs, social media, and decks.
- Upper-Intermediate (B2) English proficiency (mandatory).
- Self-directed work ethic with problem-solving skills and rapid asset delivery.

Project Details
- Time Commitment: ~10–20 hrs/week during active phases (not guaranteed consistently).
- Compensation: $50+/hr (varies by project complexity and duration).
