Freelance Website Copywriter / Content Strategist

Freelance Website Copywriter (Flexible Pool Role) – N4 Studio

We are seeking a talented and experienced Website Copywriter to join our dynamic team as part of a flexible, project-based pool of trusted writers.


About the Role

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of content-first design principles
  • Expertise in crafting compelling, conversion-focused copy that aligns with client brand voice and objectives
  • The ability to create low-fidelity wireframes and content outlines for seamless handover to the design team

About N4 Studio

We’re a global Webflow agency of around 60 people, specialising in design, development, and growth. As Webflow’s #1 Enterprise Partner worldwide, we work with clients who demand polished, high-impact digital experiences.

Typical Project Scope

We take on B2B and B2C website builds across diverse industries. Content work typically comprises two phases:

1. Narrative & Messaging Strategy (Phase I)

  • Collaborate with project designers to shape site narratives and messaging frameworks
  • Deliver a client-facing presentation of strategic content recommendations and initial copy concepts

2. Copywriting (Phase II – Optional)

  • Expand Phase I’s foundations into polished, SEO/AEO-optimised website copy (from drafts through revisions to design handoff)
  • Projects may engage writers for one or both phases, depending on the scope

What We’re Looking For

We’re hunting for experienced website copywriters who:

  • Have a strong portfolio of website copy across multiple industries, with experience working with complex client offerings
  • Can adapt tone/voice sharply while remaining crystal-clear and engaging
  • Understand the symbiotic relationship between copy and design (proven collaboration experience preferred)
  • Are fluent in SEO principles, including AI-assisted search optimisation
  • Are proficient in Figma—all work is developed and presented directly in the platform
  • Bonus credit for experience running content strategy workshops or leading messaging frameworks
