Location: Seaham. Full-time
Salary: £30,000-£35,000

The Role
Join us as a Freight Account Manager and take the lead in shaping our brand new Freight Account Programme. You'll drive new business opportunities, strengthen customer partnerships, and accelerate the growth of our accounts.

Key Responsibilities for Freight Account Manager:
- Win new business through cold calling, prospecting, and face-to-face appointments.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, consistently converting new opportunities.
- Conduct effective in-person meetings with prospects and existing customers.
- Grow and maintain accounts through strong relationship management.
- Work closely with operations to ensure smooth freight delivery.

About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Confident cold caller with proven new business results.
- Strong in-person communicator with experience in face-to-face sales meetings.
- Ability to build, retain, and grow accounts through strong relationships.
- Resilient, commercially aware, organised, and target driven.
- No formal qualifications required - experience and capability matter most.
- Freight, logistics, or sales background preferred.
- Full training on our Freight Account Programme and systems provided.
