Freight Forwarder x 2 | Liverpool | FMCG | £31k
Location: Liverpool
Working Arrangement: Hybrid Working (4 days office / 1 day home)
We're looking for a couple of Freight Forwarders to work in a fast paced, long standing trading business. This is a varied, fast-paced role where you'll play a key part in coordinating deliveries, solving operational challenges, and ensuring goods move efficiently across the UK.
The Role
You'll be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods from planning through to delivery, ensuring operations run smoothly and customers receive an excellent service.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Coordinating collections and deliveries across the UK
- Managing shipments from start to finish, ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in full
- Monitoring transport activity and resolving any operational issues that arise
- Building strong relationships with suppliers, transport providers, customers and internal teams
- Scheduling deliveries while balancing changing priorities
- Maintaining accurate records using internal business systems
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders to keep operations running efficiently
- Supporting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working

About You
We're looking for someone who is motivated, organised and enjoys working in a fast-moving environment.
Essential
- Experience within a freight forwarding role or Supply Chain Coordination
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

Desirable
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems
- Competency in MS Excel
- Experience working in a commercial or fast-paced environment
