Your Role
CEVA Logistics are looking for a Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join our Cardiff operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in international logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain operations. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help coordinate shipments across air, sea, road and courier networks, supporting both import and export activities for a key customer. Full training will be provided, giving you the opportunity to build your knowledge and develop a long term career within one of the world's leading logistics providers.
What Are You Going to Do?
As a Freight Forwarding Coordinator, you will support the planning and coordination of international shipments, ensuring customer requirements are met and freight moves efficiently through the supply chain.
You will:
- Assist with the day to day management of import and export shipments across multiple transport modes.
- Liaise with customers, carriers, overseas offices and internal teams to provide shipment updates and resolve queries.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, customs paperwork and shipment records.
- Monitor shipment progress and help ensure deliveries are completed on time.
- Maintain accurate information within company systems and support invoicing and administration activities.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure operational procedures and compliance requirements are followed.
- Contribute to delivering excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships.

This role offers great exposure to international logistics and provides opportunities to learn about customs procedures, freight operations and global supply chains.
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
You may already have experience in logistics, transport, shipping, customer service, administration or supply chain operations, but this is not essential. More importantly, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude and a willingness to develop new skills.
You will be:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- A confident communicator who enjoys working with customers and colleagues.
- Proactive, reliable and keen to learn.
- Competent using Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
- Interested in developing a career within freight forwarding and logistics.
- Previous experience in freight forwarding, transport planning, customs administration or import/export operations would be advantageous but is not required.
