Our client, a freight forwarding and logistics provider, is looking to hire a Freight Forwarding Sales Executive to join their team in Tilbury, Essex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to generate new business through networking, referrals, and collaboration with the sales and operations teams
- Sell import and export freight services for all modes of transportation including ocean, air, and road
- Create customised pricing proposals and service packages, clearly outlining logistics solutions to meet specific client needs
- Build rapport and foster long-term relationships with clients, positioning yourself as a trusted logistics advisor
- Meet with clients face to face
- Keep an eye on market dynamics, competitor strategies, and shifting customer demands to stay ahead of the curve

Key Requirements:

- At least 2 years of sales experience within the freight forwarding industry (air, ocean, and road transport)
- Proven ability to win new accounts and grow existing ones through strategic sales efforts
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate confidently and communicate clearly
- Comfortable balancing multiple priorities and managing time effectively
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
