French E-commerce Executive | Luxury Jewellery

Location: Hatton Garden, London (Hybrid)
Salary: £35,000 per annum + benefits
Employment Type: Full-time

As we continue to expand internationally, we are looking for a French E-commerce Executive to support the growth and optimisation of our French ecommerce website and help deliver an exceptional online experience for French-speaking customers.

About the Role

Reporting to the Global Ecommerce Manager, the French Ecommerce Executive will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day trading and optimisation of our French website.

Working closely with Ecommerce, Marketing, Merchandising, Design, Development, and Customer Service teams, you will help improve website performance, maintain accurate content, support digital campaigns, and enhance the customer journey.

This is an excellent opportunity for an e-commerce professional looking to develop their skills within a growing international luxury brand.

Key Responsibilities

E-commerce Trading & Website Management

  • Support the day-to-day management of the French e-commerce website.
  • Update website content, product information, promotions, and merchandising activity.
  • Ensure products, pricing, translations, and promotional messaging are accurate and up to date.
  • Support e-commerce trading activity across seasonal campaigns and commercial initiatives.

French Content Localisation

  • Translate and adapt website content, product descriptions, landing pages, and marketing materials into fluent French.
  • Ensure content is culturally relevant and aligned with French customer expectations.
  • Maintain accuracy across terminology, spelling, currency, and local compliance requirements.

Performance Analysis

  • Monitor key e-commerce metrics including traffic, conversion rate, revenue, average order value, and customer behaviour.
  • Support reporting and analysis using tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Hotjar.
  • Share insights and recommendations to help improve website performance.

Customer Journey Optimisation

  • Support improvements to website usability, navigation, and checkout experience.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the online customer journey and conversion performance.
  • Work with internal teams to support website improvements and testing activities.

Digital Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing teams on SEO, CRM, email campaigns, and paid media activity for the French market.
  • Ensure campaigns are correctly reflected across the website.
  • Support product launches, promotions, and marketing initiatives.

Market & Competitor Research

  • Monitor competitor websites, promotions, and e-commerce trends within the French market.
  • Share insights and ideas to help improve customer experience and commercial performance.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Customer Service teams to support French-speaking customers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Ecommerce, Marketing, Merchandising, and Development teams.
  • Provide translation and localisation support for other international markets when required.

About You

We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially minded e-commerce professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced digital environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Fluent French and English (written and spoken).
  • Previous experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, online trading, or website management.
  • Experience working with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or similar CMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and website performance reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
  • A passion for digital customer experiences and online retail.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience within luxury retail, jewellery, fashion, or premium consumer brands.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Experience using Hotjar or similar customer behaviour tools.
  • Understanding of conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
  • Experience working with multilingual or international e-commerce websites.
