Role Overview

Reporting to the Global Ecommerce Manager, the Ecommerce Executive will play a key role in:

  • Executing our online trading strategy
  • Managing the French website
  • Analysing performance to drive growth

The role involves close collaboration with marketing, merchandising, design, and DevOps teams to:

  • Optimise site performance
  • Enhance the customer journey
  • Increase online sales

Key Responsibilities

  • Website Management
    • Oversee daily operations of the French e-commerce site, ensuring:
      • Accurate promotions
      • Product listings
      • SEO
      • Translations

    • Support the online trading plan to boost revenue and conversion rates
  • Content Localisation

    • Translate and adapt:
      • Content
      • Product descriptions

    • Into fluent French, ensuring:
      • Accuracy in terminology and spelling
      • Compliance with local standards
      • Correct currency usage
  • Sales & Performance Tracking

    • Monitor KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, sales, etc.)
    • Prepare actionable insights using GA4 and HotJar
  • Marketing Coordination

    • Partner with digital marketing teams to deliver:
      • Campaigns
      • SEO initiatives
      • Newsletters
      • Paid media tailored to the French market
  • Customer Journey Optimisation

    • Identify and implement improvements to:
      • UX
      • Checkout processes
      • Overall customer experience
  • Competitor Analysis

    • Benchmark competitor activity to uncover opportunities for:
      • Growth
      • Differentiation

Requirements

  • Fluent in French (native level or equivalent) – written and spoken
  • Fluent in English – written and spoken
  • Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably within:
    • Fashion
    • Jewellery
    • Luxury goods
  • Strong understanding of:
    • French online consumer behaviour
    • Digital trends
  • Experience with:
    • CMS
    • E-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, or similar)
    • Google Analytics
  • Basic knowledge of:
    • SEO
    • PPC
    • Digital marketing principles
  • Excellent organisational skills with:
    • Attention to detail
    • Accuracy
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to:
    • Interpret data
    • Drive improvements
