Who are we?
Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa- Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there’s a kids’ club for the little ones and a workspace.
The Role:
The French Polisher is responsible for maintaining the manors interior and exterior finishes, ensuring all maintenance work is completed to a high standard while delivering excellent service to guests and colleagues. The role supports the safe, efficient, and professional upkeep of the property through preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
Who we are looking for?
- Experience in painting, decorating, and maintaining interior and exterior finishes, including woodwork, walls, floors, doors, and furniture.
- Ability to carry out preparation, painting, varnishing, oiling, and spray painting to a high standard.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, building compliance requirements, and safe working practices.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to complete preventative and reactive maintenance tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional, proactive approach to supporting both hotel guests and colleagues.

The on target earning potential for this role is £42,000 per annum - comprising a base salary of £39,000, plus a qualified estimate of £3,000 in gratuities and service charge*.

About gratuities & service charge:
Gratuities (tips) and service charge are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. It is estimated that in 2026, our full-time employees can expect to receive in the range of £3,000 in addition to their annual salary.
