Responsibilities
French Speaking Logistics Coordinator
- Location: London
- Hybrid work: Hybrid working available
- Salary: circa £36,000 per annum plus profit share scheme and excellent benefits package
Ref: 725OP
Main duties: To coordinate domestic and international logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods while delivering excellent service to French and English-speaking customers.
The Role
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments from booking through to final delivery.
- Liaise with freight carriers, warehouses, and customers to ensure timely and efficient fulfilment.
- Monitor shipments and proactively resolve delays, exceptions, and delivery issues.
- Prepare shipping documentation, customs paperwork, and compliance records.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipment data across internal systems.
- Analyse logistics performance, costs, and service levels, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support relationships with logistics providers and freight partners.
- Investigate and resolve customer logistics queries, claims, and shipment issues.
- Work closely with customer service, warehouse, and commercial teams to coordinate priorities.
- Communicate effectively in French and English with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Candidate's Profile

- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken (essential).
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, shipping, or export coordination.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of warehouse operations and stock processing.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret logistics data and produce reports.
- Knowledge of customs procedures and international shipping documentation would be advantageous.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Salary
Circa £36,000 per annum plus profit share scheme and excellent benefits package (including healthcare)
