French speaking Travel Operations Executive

French Speaking Travel Operations Executive Location: North London – hybrid working options Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience + benefits Ref: 5523FG


About the company

A well-established international Tour Operator and Destination Management Company.


Key responsibilities

  • Customer service: Provide exceptional service to clients and prospective group travellers throughout the UK & Ireland.
  • Sales & logistics: Organise group trips based on client specifications; prepare and submit quotations.
  • Supplier relations: Reserve services at competitive rates, negotiate supplier costs, and always secure the best possible prices.
  • Query management: Handle queries—both inbound and outbound—with efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work across departments to optimise business operations.
  • Market insight: Develop knowledge of French travellers’ holiday preferences and offerings.
  • Representation: Attend familiarisation trips, exhibitions and meetings as required.

Candidate requirements

  • Language: Native-level English + fluent French (written & spoken).
  • Background: Essential industry experience in travel, tourism, or a similar service sector.
  • Destination knowledge: Proven understanding of UK tourism products (cultural, historical, logistical).
  • Soft skills:
    • Proactive problem-solving ability
    • Confidence, energy, and dynamism
  • Soft skills:

    • Excellent written communication (emails, reports).
  • Technical skills:
