About The Opportunity

As a Front Desk Associate, you’ll be the heart and “face” of WeWork’s hospitality team as the primary point of contact for our members and guests! While no two days will be exactly the same, you’ll work at one of our beautiful locations during daytime hours to support our Community Management team.

Depending on your location, your role may involve:

  • Supporting a variety of members from different backgrounds and industries, or
  • Working with one of our Enterprise clients with technical, operational, or relationship-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

Your role encompasses a range of key tasks including (but not limited to):

Community Environment & Member Engagement

  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests, including their pets!
  • Greet everyone warmly and make them feel known and valued.
  • Proactively learn member names, backgrounds, and needs to build strong relationships.
  • Support member success stories and milestones with a personal touch.

Front Desk Management

  • Greet, register, and check in members and guests according to WeWork policies.
  • Present a warm and engaging demeanour at all times.
  • Handle key issuance/collection efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk and notify members of food deliveries or packages.
  • Provide clear orientations of the space to first-time visitors.

Supporting the Community Team

  • Work closely with Community Associates, Leads, and Managers to execute daily operations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in WeWork products/services by promoting relevant offerings.

Member Interaction & Service Excellence

  • Answer member/guest questions knowledgeably and recommend tailored WeWork solutions.
  • Explain policies and procedures with clarity.
  • Know local business resources, including restaurants, catering, team outing venues, and logistics providers.

Building & Operations Support

  • Handle mail and package processing (receiving, sorting, organizing).
  • Maintain mailroom protocols and explain procedures to members.
  • Monitor spaces for adjustments (e.g., trash removal, chair reset, pillow straightening).
  • Restock amenities (treats, keycards, printers, etc.).
  • Promptly respond to emergencies, escalate as necessary, and document incidents.

About You

We’re looking for passionate individuals who align with our values. Ideal candidates preferably meet:

✅ Love interacting with people and connecting with diverse backgrounds. ✅ Are natural hosts, with great people skills and a brand-friendly presence. ✅ Gain a sense of fulfillment from helping others. ✅ Excels in teamwork and embraces hands-on tasks. ✅ Can multitask effectively while keeping member needs the priority. ✅ Has hospitality/retail or customer service experience (but not required). ✅ Demonstrates strong written and spoken communication skills. ✅ Comfortable and efficient with basic computer systems. ✅ Shows integrity, accountability, and trustworthiness, plus collaborative spirit. ✅heartens WeWork’s mission and values—love working with Purpose! ✅ High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
