The LaLiT London is a luxury 5-star boutique hotel that blends Indian culture with contemporary design in a historic 120-year-old neo-baroque building near Tower Bridge. Located in the heart of London and close to key attractions and business districts, the hotel offers 70 individually crafted bedrooms, including nine suites, featuring rich aesthetics, high ceilings, and views of The Shard and other landmarks. Guests can enjoy Rejuve spa and dine at Baluchi, an award-winning pan-Indian restaurant recognized for its exceptional cuisine and dining experience. Role Description

The Front Desk Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient front desk experience.

The receptionist will maintain accurate records, perform basic clerical duties, and provide proactive support to guests, addressing requests, concerns, and special needs in a professional manner. The role involves upholding the hotel’s standards of guest service, maintaining a polished front desk environment, and supporting a culture of inclusivity and hospitality.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
  • Professional phone etiquette and ability to manage incoming calls and inquiries efficiently.
  • Experience with receptionist duties, including check-in/check-out, reservations, and front desk operations.
  • Clerical skills, such as data entry, record keeping, and handling basic administrative tasks.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality, or customer-facing role is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Proficiency with hotel management systems and basic computer applications is an advantage.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusivity, cultural sensitivity, and respectful guest interaction.
