About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Front-End Developer to join our busy technical team at Erin Associates. This role is based in Blackburn and offers a hybrid working model, providing flexibility to balance work and personal commitments. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the design and development of scalable web applications and platforms. You will be responsible for defining front-end architecture, establishing development standards, and ensuring the delivery of secure, maintainable, and high-performance code. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in front-end web development, with proven experience in building scalable and maintainable applications. Essential qualifications include expertise in React and TypeScript, along with a solid understanding of JavaScript. Experience with component-driven design, state management, and modern front-end development practices is required. Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines is also necessary. Additional skills such as UX design experience using Figma are desirable but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to collaboration and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement front-end architecture and development standards, adhering to best practices to ensure high-quality code.
- Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, leadership teams, and marketing to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
- Oversee integrations with third-party APIs and ensure optimal performance across applications.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and industry trends to continually enhance development practices.
