The Role
We have a full-time position for a Midweight Front End Developer with .NET skills to work with our growing development team. We're hard-working, and lucky enough to balance this with fun at the same time. We're also pretty good at what we do and take great pride in our creations; making us an awesome bunch of gifted individuals where together we will be amazing.
Our Front End Developer will be working on a wide variety of projects; from websites, apps, system applications, and more: using a mixture of persistence technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Willingness to learn new languages and technologies
- Keep abreast of the latest and emerging technologies
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
- Ability to self-manage
- Work in a multidisciplinary team with other professionals such as back-end developers and web designers
- Produce clean, efficient, testable code using modern web technologies
- Adhere to organisational policies, standards & best practices in app development, documentation & maintenance; supporting industry best practices & project approaches
- Design and develop mobile-friendly applications
- Analyse web applications and perform improvements for SEO and Accessibility
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product owners in order to build interactive and scalable sites/software
- Review and refactor code
- Build, develop, and maintain frontend toolsets (Webpack, Gulp, etc.)
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
- Communicate with the internal team to help clarify development tasks and attend quoting meetings when required

Required Experience
- 2+ years of experience as a Front-End Developer
- Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
- 2+ years of experience with markup languages
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript (ES6), CSS (SASS or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience with modern front-end frameworks (at least one of React, Angular, or preferably VueJS)
- 2+ years of experience with modern front-end component libraries (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.)
- Knowledgeable concerning clean code, secure coding practices, design patterns, code smells, refactoring, etc.
- Aptitude with code authoring tools (Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code)
- Aptitude with GIT version control
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
- Commercial experience with using RESTful APIs

Preferred Qualifications
- BA in Computer Science or similar relevant field
- OR
- 2+ Years of IT Work Experience
