Front End Engineer II
Engineer II
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland Schedule: Hybrid (Monday/Friday remote, Tuesday/Thursday/Friday in-office)
About the Role
At Magnite, we foster an environment of growth and collaboration—where millions of users' reading, viewing, and purchasing experiences are directly shaped by our technology. As the world's largest independent sell-side advertising platform, we empower publishers to monetise content across CTV/streaming, online video, display, and audio, handling billions of transactions daily.
We’re seeking an Engineer II to join our Streaming UI team in Belfast. This team builds critical React applications that leverage ad-serving functionality—middleware for inventories, deals, diagnostics, reporting, and forecasting—allowing our publishers to navigate ad processes seamlessly. Here you’ll work alongside global engineering teams in New York, Los Angeles, and Colorado to transform complex real-time data into intuitive tools that publishers and account managers can use effectively.
Whether you’re a detail-oriented problem-solver, a Reactor veteran, or simply someone eager to collaborate during our peak (3 pm–5 pm GMT) overlap hours, play a direct role in making technical processes effortless for end users.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
