Hours:

  • Full-time (4 on, 2 off)
  • 10 hours per day
  • Variable shifts

Salary: £14.20 per hour

About the Role

Front Gate House Officers ensure visitors, clients, and VIP guests are received professionally and securely, maintaining high standards of service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Front Gate House Officers will be responsible for:

  • Delivering a professional greeting to clients and visitors of the highest standard
  • Ensuring safe working practices to protect the building, staff, and visitors
  • Monitoring and managing the Windsor Suite car park and ensuring it operates efficiently
  • Maintaining regular coordination with the doorperson and other security colleagues to protect security while upholding Heathrow VIP service levels
  • Assisting in daily building operations, including the managing of the forecourt, entrances, and exits
  • Ensuring the gate house is always staffed by appropriately trained security personnel
  • Maintaining discretion and confidentiality in all tasks
  • Supporting the VIP team to guarantee a seamless, stress-free service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must:

  • Hold a valid SG/DS security licence (essential)
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service
  • Exhibit the ability to think quickly and act decisively in emergencies or high-pressure situations
  • Show reliability, including strict punctuality and attendance
  • Be capable of working effectively in a team
  • Be calm and confident when dealing with public demands
  • Exhibit a clear understanding of equality and diversity principles and their impact on visitor needs
