Front of House Assistant
Front of House Assistant – Watford Office
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for clients and colleagues alike? As a Front of House Assistant at VWV, you’ll be the face of our Watford office, providing a professional, friendly, and memorable experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
About the Role
As a Front of House Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and colleagues visiting our Watford office. Acting as a brand ambassador for VWV, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to outstanding service.
This is a varied and hands-on role, where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for:
- Welcoming visitors, managing meeting room bookings, preparing hospitality services, and supporting smooth office operations.
- Greeting clients, visitors, and colleagues with warmth and professionalism, ensuring everyone receives a five-star welcome.
- Managing meeting spaces, arranging refreshments, and maintaining clean, organised, and presentation-ready areas.
- Providing administrative and operational support, including:
- Processing deliveries
- Maintaining schedules and logbooks
- Updating data collection workbooks
- Assisting with office tasks

About You
You’re a confident and approachable individual with:
- Previous reception or front-of-house experience (desirable)
- A genuine passion for customer service
- The ability to meet new people, take pride in your work, and go the extra mile to ensure visitors feel welcome and valued
You’ll demonstrate:
- Excellent communication skills and a professional manner
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong teamwork skills and composure under pressure
- Comfort handling urgent tasks in a fast-paced environment
An essential working knowledge of Microsoft Office and email systems, along with fluent English (written and spoken), is required.
Above all, you must bring energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to exceptional service in every interaction. A polished personal presentation and team-focused attitude will help you succeed in this role.

Where Will I Be Working?
Whilst VWV supports a hybrid working model, the Front of House Assistant role will require 100% office attendance due to business needs. You will be based in our Watford office, Monday to Friday.
