Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for clients and colleagues alike?

As a Front of House Assistant at VWV, you'll be the face of our Watford office, providing a professional, friendly, and memorable experience for everyone who walks through our doors. If you thrive in a people-focused role and enjoy working in a fast-paced, professional environment, we'd love to hear from you.

About The Role

As a Front of House Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and colleagues visiting our Watford office. Acting as a brand ambassador for VWV, you'll play a key role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to outstanding service.

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for welcoming visitors, managing meeting room bookings, preparing hospitality services, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the office. Working closely with colleagues across the firm, you'll help maintain a professional and welcoming environment while delivering a consistently high standard of customer care.

  • Greet clients, visitors, and colleagues with warmth and professionalism, ensuring everyone receives a five-star welcome.
  • Manage meeting room bookings, prepare meeting spaces to a high standard, arrange refreshments, and ensure all client-facing areas remain clean, organised, and presentation-ready throughout the day.

Alongside your front-of-house responsibilities, you'll provide administrative and operational support, including processing deliveries, maintaining schedules and logbooks, updating data collection workbooks, and assisting with a range of office tasks. You'll work closely with colleagues across the firm to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently, while proactively raising any concerns relating to processes, practices, or incidents where appropriate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
