Employment Type: 21 Hours per week | 9.00am – 4.30pm | 3 days over a week | Permanent
Pay Rate: £12.99 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Catering Assistant to join our contract catering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about food service, customer satisfaction, and leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
As Catering Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operation of the catering service, ensuring high standards of:
- Food quality
- Hygiene
- Customer service
- Operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Assist and support catering staff during daily service.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently delivered.
- Assist with food preparation, presentation, and service.
- Monitor food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
- Assist with cash handling and daily reporting where required.
- Help achieve financial targets and minimise waste.
