About the Role
We’re looking for passionate, people-focused individuals on a zero-hour contract to join our teams and help us deliver outstanding service at every Match Day event in our bars and eateries.
As a General Assistant - Front of House, your role will be integral to ensuring customers have a seed-to-table experience they’ll remember for the right reasons.

Key Responsibilities
In this customer-facing and team-driven role, you will be responsible for the following:

- Serve food and beverages with a welcoming, friendly, and professional manner
- Address guest needs and requests efficiently and effectively, exceeding expectations
- Fill an attentive eye on every guest touchpoint throughout their journey

- Answer questions and anticipate needs with a solution-first approach
- Safely and confidently resolve any guest concerns or issues on the spot
- First impressions matter: ensure presentation, speed, and polish are always consistent with BaxterStorey standards

Team Collaboration
- Work seamlessly with colleagues to ensure smooth operations throughout busy peak times
- Maintain open, respectful communication to foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment

Health and Safety Compliance
- Fully adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as client/venue-specific guidelines

Maintain Standards for Quality and Hygiene
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all food-and-beverage areas, anticipating peak traffic without compromising comfort
Requirements
Ideal candidates possess the following skills, attitude, and work ethic:

Think of your most enthusiastic waitstaff or receptionist—we need that energy in our teams.

Preferably prior experience in food or customer service roles (e.g., waitressing, bar staff, event assistant, catering)

Familiarity with fundamental food safety and sanitation practices (additional HACCP training may be provided)
