About the Role
A brief summary:
The Front of House Manager will manage day-to-day operations, demonstrating exceptional organisation, customer service, and client care. The role supports the General Manager, ensuring the office and facility meet operational standards for both staff and clients.
Key details:
- Location: London
- Hours: 40 per week (Monday to Friday)
- Reports to: General Manager
- Role type: Full-time
Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
- Acting as the front-line contact for all clients, coordinating building operations, client bookings, and expectations to ensure satisfaction.
- Managing logistical systems, including access passes and facility portals, while ensuring compliance with security and IT standards.
- Overseeing the "Goods in" process, including coordinating deliveries (post, equipment) with internal teams to ensure items are tracked and placed correctly.
- Supporting the General Manager in facility maintenance, including daily upgrades, cleanliness, and compliance with ISO needs.
- Building strong client relationships and reporting insights to senior management to support business goals.
- Providing supervision of the Runner team, ensuring duties are performed effectively.
- Occasional after-hours work to support large productions.
- Assisting the bookings team with administrative support.
- Adhering to company Health & Safety (H&S) policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting continuous improvements.
- Leading line management and scheduling of the Front Office Coordinator & Runner Team.
- Contributing to business improvements in line with the company management system.

Requirements
This role is for you if you have:
- At least 3 years’ experience in office, reception, or client-facing roles.
- At least 5 years’ professional work experience.
- A welcoming and professional demeanour.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organisation and planning skills.
- A proactive, adaptable, and quick-learning mindset.
- Experience with organisational tools and preferably scheduling software.
- Teamwork experience, with an ability to manage teams beneficial.
- A preference for experience in broadcasting or sports-related sectors.

Key Managerial Responsibilities
In this management role, we expect you to:

- Manage poor performance within your team.
- Communicate key business messages post-managerial discussions or updates.
- Share and reinforce company policies with your team.
- Be responsive to requests from colleagues and departments.
- Ensure team members complete mandatory training.
- Conduct annual performance reviews for your team.
- Prevent harassment, sexual harassment, or bullying within your team.
- Budget management to align spend with company objectives.
