Job Details

Location: Birmingham, B4 6HQ

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of hospitality, catering and front-of-house services, ensuring exceptional standards and customer experience.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact for hospitality operations.
  • Oversee the smooth delivery of meetings, events, private dining and hospitality functions.
  • Maintain high presentation, cleanliness and service standards across all hospitality areas.
  • Monitor customer feedback, resolve issues promptly and drive continuous service improvements.
  • Recruit, train, motivate and develop a high-performing front-of-house team.
  • Deliver team briefings, manage performance and support colleague wellbeing and engagement.
  • Manage staffing, payroll, training records and HR processes in line with company procedures.
  • Drive financial performance by monitoring sales, labour, stock control, costs and gross profit.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve efficiencies and enhance the client experience.
  • Ensure accurate completion of reports, financial administration, purchasing and compliance requirements.
  • Support special events, business initiatives and operational needs across the wider business when required.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous management experience within hospitality, catering or premium service environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
  • Proven experience delivering high-quality hospitality, events or corporate functions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, labour and cost control.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and perform under pressure.
  • Good understanding of food safety, health & safety and compliance standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational administration, including reporting and payroll.
  • Proactive, professional and committed to continuous improvement.
