Front of House Security Officer

We are looking for a professional and dependable Front of House Security Officer to join our team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, visitors, and staff while delivering a welcoming and professional front-of-house experience.

Job Title: Front of House
Location: City of London - Barbican/St Pauls station.
Pay Rate: £14.94 per hour
Contracted Hours: 50 hours per week

Role Overview

We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Front of House Officer to join our team at a prestigious flagship building in the City of London. You will deliver an exceptional experience for staff, tenants, and visitors while maintaining a safe and secure environment. Working closely with security, facilities, cleaning, and catering teams, you will play a key role in providing outstanding customer service and supporting daily building operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist visitors, staff, and tenants with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Manage reception duties, visitor access, and access control systems.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment by following security procedures and responding to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
  • Conduct visitor management, monitor security systems, and complete accurate reports.
  • Work collaboratively with on-site teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Follow health and safety, security, and company policies at all times.
  • Support emergency procedures, including fire evacuation and first aid where required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional, reliable, and well-presented.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work independently.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • SIA Door Supervisor licence (or willingness to obtain one).
  • First Aid qualification (or willingness to complete training).
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing, corporate, hospitality, or security role is desirable.
