Front of House Security Officer – London (SW1W 0SR)
We are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Front of House Security Officer to join our team in London.
About the Role
This role involves ensuring the safety, security, and welfare of our clients, visitors, and staff while delivering a welcoming, professional, and genuinely people-focused experience. Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and patrolling the premises
- Managing access control and ensuring a secure environment
- Responding promptly to incidents with a proactive, calm attitude
- Maintaining a visible, reassuring presence to deter safety concerns
The ideal candidate will combine:
- Confidence and professionalism in high-visibility interactions
- Exceptional communication and customer care skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- The ability to de-escalate conflicts (including youth antisocial behaviour) with training
Mandatory requirement: Valid SIA licence—CCTV experience is an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled patrols of private and shared spaces during shifts
- Open and close buildings and terraces while maintaining external security
- Provide courteous, efficient service to clients, visitors, and stakeholders
- Respond to emergencies or incidents (training provided on-site)
- Offer first aid support when required
- Work effectively under pressure with emotional intelligence

Requirements
✅ Valid SIA licence (priority for those with CCTV credentials) ✅ Clean 5-year work history check ✅ Experience in a similar security or front-of-house role (additional value) ✅ Compliance with physical duties—long periods standing, comfortable during full uniform ✅ Customer-service excellence—friendly yet firm approach to diverse stakeholders
Details
- Role: Front of House Security Officer
- Location: SW1W 0SR, London (closest tube: Victoria)
- Hourly Rate: £14.49/hour
- Shift Pattern: 7 on (12hr shifts), 3 off → 7 on, 4 off (avg. 56 hours/week)
