Front of House Security Officer – London (SW1W 0SR)

About the Role

We are looking for a professional and dependable Front of House Security Officer to join our team in London. In this role, you will ensure the safety and security of our clients, visitors, and staff while delivering a welcoming and professional front-of-house experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and patrolling the premises
  • Managing access control
  • Responding to incidents promptly
  • Maintaining a visible and reassuring presence

The ideal candidate will be confident, well-presented, and customer-focused, with exceptional communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude. You will play a key role in providing an efficient, courteous, and effective service.

⚠️ Security SIA licence is essential (CCTV experience desirable).


Job Details

  • Location: SW1W 0SR, London
  • Closest Tube Station: Victoria
  • Pay Rate: £14.49 per hour
  • Shift Pattern: 7 on – 3 off – 7 on – 4 off
  • Days and nights rota (12-hour shifts, average weekly hours = 56)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols around the premises
  • Open and close the building and terraces
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • De-escalate situations, including incidents involving young people and anti-social behaviour
  • Deliver First Aid assistance when required
  • Interact effectively with stakeholders and tenants
  • Respond promptly to any incidents (full training will be provided)

Requirements

✅ Must-have:

  • Valid SIA licence (CCTV experience desirable)
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in a similar position (preferred)
  • 5-year checkable work history
