The Role

As the first face patients see when they walk into Truly, you'll set the tone for their entire experience. You'll manage the front desk, coordinate appointments, support the clinical team, and make sure every patient feels welcomed and cared for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and managing reception
  • Booking, rescheduling and confirming appointments
  • Handling incoming calls and emails professionally
  • Processing payments and managing patient records (GDPR compliant)
  • Coordinating between patients and clinical team
  • Maintaining a tidy, welcoming reception area
  • Supporting the Practice Manager with admin tasks

What We're Looking For

  • Previous reception or customer-facing experience (dental/medical is a plus)
  • Strong English communication, both written and spoken
  • Confident with practice management software (Dentally, Exact, SOE - training provided)
  • Multitasker with attention to detail
  • Warm, professional, calm under pressure
  • GDPR awareness
  • Right to work in the UK

Important Details Before Applying

  • This is an on-site, part-time role based at our Glasgow clinic.
  • The position is 24 hours per week, paid at £15 per hour.
  • At the moment, the expected working pattern is Monday to Thursday, approximately 6 hours per day, likely around 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. However, the rota may vary slightly from week to week depending on clinic needs.
  • Flexibility is important, as there may be opportunities for additional hours in the future, particularly if the clinic extends its opening hours or opens on Saturdays.
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK before applying.
