Detail London is a specialist Recruitment and Talent Sourcer serving Fashion, Beauty, Lifestyle, and Consumer industries.

A prestigious, high-end salon in central London is looking for an experienced Front of House Receptionist to become the face of their brand and the first point of contact for their discerning clientele.

This is an exciting opportunity for a polished, professional individual who thrives in a luxury environment, delivers exceptional customer service, and has a background in either retail sales, luxury hospitality, private members clubs, restaurants, etc. As a leading destination for premium colour and styling services, they pride themselves on delivering a seamless client experience, combining world-class expertise with a refined, welcoming atmosphere.

Experience:

  • Experience in a Front of House, Reception, Host, Client Services, etc.
  • Sales experience advantageous
  • Impeccable personal presentation and communication skills
  • Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-centric environment
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences
  • The right to live and work in the UK indefinitely
  • Sales experience within the luxury, beauty, wellness, or hospitality is a plus

The role:

With the FOH team, you'll work a flexible shift pattern Tuesday–Saturday, 40 hours per week, typically between 8:30am and 6:30pm to ensure full FOH coverage:

  • Welcome clients with warmth, professionalism, and discretion
  • Manage appointments, telephone calls, and email enquiries efficiently
  • Process payments and support daily administrative operations
  • Drive retail sales through confident product recommendations
  • Maintain an immaculate and organised reception environment
  • Support the wider salon team to ensure an exceptional client journey from arrival to departure
