Front of House Supervisor - Perle Hotels
Location: Perle Oban Hotel & Spa
Salary: An hourly rate of £14.00 (+ £1.00 as a housing allowance if you do not require subsidised staff accommodation) + tips & benefits
The Opportunity

About The Hotel
Located on Oban's seafront, Perle Oban Hotel & Spa is a striking Victorian building overlooking the harbour and islands beyond. This four-star hotel combines period features with contemporary design, offering guests stylish rooms and relaxed luxury. Dining is centred around the Oban Brasserie, serving Scottish classics and seasonal seafood, while the in-house Mara Spa provides a haven of relaxation in the heart of the "Gateway to the Isles."

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the front of house team during service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Lead by example in delivering warm, professional, and knowledgeable service to every guest.
- Welcome and engage with guests, resolving any queries or feedback confidently and positively.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to maintain the highest standards of hospitality.
- Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely service and clear communication.
- Manage table planning, reservations, and service flow to optimise the guest experience.
- Uphold impeccable standards of presentation across the restaurant and bar areas.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and support the Manager in cost control.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior front of house role, ideally within a hotel or restaurant setting.
- A passion for food, wine, and service excellence.
- Confidence in leading and developing a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
- A hands-on, positive, and proactive attitude.
- An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.
Salary & Benefits
- An hourly rate of £14.00
- £1.00 housing allowance for those NOT requiring accommodation
