Role Description
The Front Of House Team Member will welcome guests, manage reservations and walk-ins, and provide attentive table service throughout their visit. Responsibilities include:

- Greeting and seating guests
- Presenting menus
- Taking food and beverage orders
- Coordinating with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely service
- Maintaining a clean and organized dining area
- Setting up and clearing tables
- Processing payments
- Responding to guest inquiries or concerns in a professional manner

The role involves upholding Madhu’s service standards, supporting special events and private functions, and working closely with colleagues to deliver a smooth, high-quality guest experience.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in London.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and hospitality skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all guests.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication and confident interaction with diverse customers and team members.
- Experience in table service operations, including order taking, serving food and beverages, and handling payments using POS systems.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation in the dining area and front of house spaces.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to assist colleagues during busy periods and events.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability, including punctuality and adherence to company policies and health and safety guidelines.
- Previous front of house or restaurant experience in a fine dining or high-volume environment is highly beneficial.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality industry.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and bills; additional languages are an advantage.
