Role Description

The Front Of House Team Member will welcome guests, manage reservations and walk-ins, and provide attentive table service throughout their visit. Responsibilities include:

The role involves upholding Madhu’s service standards, supporting special events and private functions, and working closely with colleagues to deliver a smooth, high-quality guest experience.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in London.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and hospitality skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all guests.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication and confident interaction with diverse customers and team members.
  • Experience in table service operations, including order taking, serving food and beverages, and handling payments using POS systems.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation in the dining area and front of house spaces.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to assist colleagues during busy periods and events.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability, including punctuality and adherence to company policies and health and safety guidelines.
  • Previous front of house or restaurant experience in a fine dining or high-volume environment is highly beneficial.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality industry.
  • Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and bills; additional languages are an advantage.
