Front Office C# .NET Developer | ETRM Integration | Azure | Energy Trading | £105,000 | Hybrid, London

Full Stack C# .NET Developer | Post-Trade Operations | ETD | Up to £140,000 | AWS | Financial Services | Hybrid, London

A Full Stack C# .NET Developer is required to join a high-performing operations technology team within one of London's most technology-driven financial services firms, operating across global commodity and derivatives markets.

This is a full stack role with a strong C# .NET backend focus, working on operationally critical systems that support the post-trade processing of Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD). You'll be working across the full stack from React front-ends through to C# .NET services and data layers in a highly data-driven environment where accuracy, traceability and consistency are paramount.

This is a rare opportunity for a strong technologist to move into financial services at a firm that genuinely treats technology as a core part of its business rather than a support function. Domain knowledge is not a prerequisite; what matters most is full stack engineering depth, a methodical approach to data and a desire to work on complex, high-integrity systems. With a global footprint spanning 40+ offices, access to 60 exchanges, and a team of over 3,200 people, the investment in engineering talent, modern tooling and cloud-native infrastructure is substantial and ongoing.

The Team

The ETD Operations Technology team sits at the heart of the firm's post-trade ecosystem. They design and maintain the systems responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining full stack C# .NET and React applications supporting post-trade operational work.
  • Processing and validating high-integrity transactional and position data across C# .NET services.
  • Supporting deliveries processing, segregation movements and settlement workflows.
  • Handling commission and fee calculations and operational adjustments.
  • Ensuring exchange-traded activity is accurately reflected across internal platforms and client accounts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
