Front Office C#.NET Developer | ETRM Integration | Azure | Energy Trading | £105,000 | Hybrid, London
A Front Office C#.NET Developer is required to join a high-performing integration team within one of the world’s leading energy trading firms, based in their Victoria office in London.
Energy trading is one of the most exciting and consequential sectors in technology today. The energy transition, volatile global markets, and increasing complexity across trading operations are driving significant investment in C# .NET engineering — and this firm sits at the centre of that transformation.
This is not a back-office support role or a siloed development position. It is a front-office seat, working closely with traders and directly influencing the systems and data they rely on to make real-time decisions.
The Opportunity
The opportunity is twofold. In the short term, you will play a key role in integrating a recently acquired US business into the firm’s existing technology landscape — a complex, high-impact programme involving ETRM platforms, SAP, and CreditCube across two organisations. As the integration project matures, the role will naturally evolve into a broader front-office development position, providing a clear path into one of the most dynamic energy trading environments in the market.
If you want to write C# .NET code that genuinely matters, work closely with the front office, and build deep expertise in a sector shaping the future of global markets, this is an opportunity worth exploring.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
