Front Office Developer

Role: Front Office Developer Compensation: Up to £170,000 P/A + Comps Location: London

A high-performing investment-focused firm is seeking an experienced developer to join a small, collaborative technology team supporting business-critical platforms and data systems. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, take ownership of core applications, and contribute to ongoing system evolution that underpins daily operations.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop and enhance internal applications, reporting tools, and data-driven dashboards
  • Design, optimise, and maintain complex SQL Server databases and data models
  • Collaborate closely with business users to deliver scalable solutions as requirements evolve
  • Improve and modernise existing systems while ensuring reliability and performance

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong commercial experience with SQL Server, including query optimisation and database design
  • Professional experience developing applications in C#, .NET, or comparable object-oriented languages
  • Background in financial services, trading, or other fast-paced, data-centric environments
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
