Great Scotland Yard Hotel, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, is a luxury hotel steeped in history, located just moments from Covent Garden and around the corner from Trafalgar Square in the heart of Westminster.

The hotel features 151 guestrooms and suites and blends historic character with contemporary design. Dining and bar experiences include Ekstedt at The Yard, a Scandinavian inspired restaurant celebrating open fire cooking, creative cocktails at the 40 Elephants Bar, an extensive whisky selection at Sibin, and Afternoon Tea in The Parlour.

Colleagues work in a distinctive and characterful environment delivering thoughtful and memorable service to guests exploring the culture, history and landmarks of central London.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Front Office Manager role

As Front Office Manager, you will oversee the day to day operation of the hotel’s Front Office, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless, personalised and memorable experience from arrival to departure. At Great Scotland Yard, the Front Office is far more than a reception area. It is where every guest’s journey begins, and you will play a vital role in delivering the intuitive, thoughtful service that defines luxury hospitality.

You will be responsible for the Front Office, Concierge and Guest Experience functions, ensuring each area consistently delivers the highest standards of service, presentation and guest care. From welcoming VIPs and resolving guest requests with confidence to anticipating individual preferences, you will help create experiences that exceed expectations and leave lasting impressions.

With experience in a premium or luxury hotel environment, you instinctively anticipate guest needs, remain calm under pressure and take pride in delivering warm, intuitive and personalised experiences that create lasting memories.

You bring strong operational expertise together with a natural ability to build relationships with guests, colleagues and partners alike. Whether welcoming a returning VIP, resolving a complex guest request or ensuring the smooth running of a busy Front Office, you consistently lead by example with professionalism, confidence and genuine care.

Above all, you are committed to creating exceptional guest experiences. You thrive in a fast-paced luxury environment, enjoy developing others to deliver their very best and take pride in maintaining the impeccable standards, individuality and character that make Great Scotland Yard one of London's most iconic luxury hotels.
