Looking for a fun and dynamic role in one of Scotland's most unique luxury hotels?

The award-winning Fife Arms Hotel in the heart of Braemar is seeking a Front Office Porter to join our team. As one of the first people our guests meet, you'll play a key role in creating memorable experiences from the moment they arrive until the time they leave.

About The Role

As a Front Office Porter, you'll help ensure a smooth and welcoming guest journey by:

  • Providing a warm, professional welcome to guests on arrival and departure
  • Assisting with luggage and escorting guests to Reception
  • Delivering luggage safely to guest rooms and designated storage areas
  • Responding promptly and courteously to guest requests
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and welcoming hotel entrance, driveway, and car park
  • Sharing local knowledge and recommendations to enhance our guests' experience of Braemar and the surrounding area

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in hospitality is helpful but not essential. We're looking for people with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine desire to create outstanding guest experiences.

You'll Be Successful In This Role If You Have

  • A friendly, professional, and guest-focused approach
  • Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • A proactive, flexible, and hands-on attitude
  • An interest in learning about the local area and sharing recommendations with guests
  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment (desirable but not essential)
  • The right to work in the UK (please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role)
