Front Office Delivery Manager
We are looking for an experienced Front Office Delivery Manager to help drive the successful delivery of complex engineering initiatives across our Front Office Quantitative Strategies Department. CMC Markets is evolving rapidly, and we are looking for someone who can bring structure, transparency and momentum to cross-functional delivery.
Working closely with Engineering Managers, Technical Leads and senior stakeholders, you will ensure teams are aligned, dependencies are managed, and strategic initiatives are delivered efficiently.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Delivery Manager who enjoys working with highly technical engineering teams, improving delivery practices and enabling teams to perform at their best within a fast-paced Front Office environment.
Please note that this is an onsite role that will require you to work within our London office (near Liverpool street) 5 days on site per week.
What you will be doing
- Lead the delivery of complex, cross-team engineering initiatives from planning through to successful delivery.
- Work closely with Engineering Managers, Technical Leads and business stakeholders to ensure priorities remain aligned and delivery stays on track.
- Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies across multiple teams, driving timely resolution.
- Facilitate planning, prioritisation and roadmap discussions, balancing competing demands and business priorities.
- Establish clear delivery governance through concise reporting, risk, assumption, issue and dependency management, milestone tracking and outcome-focused updates.
- Develop and maintain portfolio-level visibility through effective use of Jira and Confluence and automated reporting dashboards.
- Champion Agile delivery practices, coaching teams in Scrum, Kanban and Lean ways of working to improve predictability and delivery flow.
- Improve delivery processes by introducing frameworks and standards that enable teams to deliver consistently and efficiently.
- Support resource planning, forecasting and cross-team coordination across the department.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular reviews, demonstrations and retrospectives.
- Build strong relationships across Engineering, Product, Compliance and other business functions to remove blockers and enable successful delivery.

What we are looking for
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Technical Delivery Manager or Agile Delivery Lead, delivering complex software initiatives across multiple engineering teams.
- Experience working in Front Office technology, Financial Services or another highly regulated environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong technical understanding, allowing you to engage confidently with software engineers, architects and quantitative teams without being hands-on.
- Experience leading Agile delivery across Scrum, Kanban or scaled Agile environments.
- Strong knowledge of Jira and Confluence and delivery reporting tools.
- Experience managing dependencies, risks and delivery roadmaps across multiple teams.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
