About The Role
Digital Waffle is seeking a skilled and passionate Front End Developer with a strong focus on Angular to join its innovative team. This fully remote role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and scaling of a modern, customer-facing web platform. The ideal candidate will enjoy working on complex interfaces, data-driven products, and clean, well-structured front end architecture. You will work closely with product managers and engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences, taking ownership of features from initial development through to deployment and ongoing support. This position is suited for someone who prefers to stay deeply technical rather than transition into management, and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications
- Proven commercial experience with Angular and TypeScript, demonstrating the ability to develop robust and scalable front end solutions.
- Strong understanding of modern front end architecture, best practices, and design patterns.
- Experience working with reactive programming concepts, particularly using RxJS.
- Ability to write well-tested, maintainable code with a focus on performance optimization.
- Background working in SaaS or digital product environments, with an understanding of the full development lifecycle.
- Comfortable working remotely and effectively communicating within distributed teams.
- A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing front end features utilizing Angular and TypeScript to meet product specifications.
- Creating reusable components and scalable UI patterns to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
- Implementing reactive programming techniques using RxJS to manage asynchronous data streams effectively.
- Collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to scope, plan, and deliver new features.
- Writing high-quality, well-tested code that adheres to performance standards and best practices.
- Enhancing existing front end architecture by contributing to technical standards and code reviews.
- Utilizing modern tooling and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate development processes.
- Owning features from conception through deployment, including ongoing maintenance and support in production.

Benefits
Digital Waffle offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 to £65,000, commensurate with experience and skills. The role is fully remote within the UK, providing flexibility and work-life balance.
