About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join a rapidly expanding financial services business based in South Manchester. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of digital innovation within the fintech industry. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, contributing to the development of cutting-edge digital products that streamline financial processes for businesses and consumers. The role involves designing and building modern, responsive web applications primarily using React, deploying applications via Vercel, and integrating sophisticated backend services such as Supabase. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, practical experience, and a proactive mindset. Essential qualifications include:
- Proven experience developing applications with React
- A strong understanding of Supabase for backend solutions
- Familiarity with deploying applications using Vercel
- Solid experience with API integration, SQL databases, and testing frameworks such as Playwright
- Knowledge of Python programming
Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment are critical for success in this role.
Desirable qualifications include:
- Experience working with AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI APIs
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows
- Experience with TypeScript
- Previous exposure to fintech, lending, or financial services industries
Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern, responsive web applications using React, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Deploy applications efficiently using Vercel, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
- Build scalable backend solutions utilizing Supabase, including authentication, databases, storage, and backend services.
- Integrate internal and third-party APIs seamlessly to enhance application functionality.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright to ensure robust and bug-free code.
- Support backend services and automation processes through Python scripting and development.
- Write and optimize efficient SQL queries to facilitate data retrieval and manipulation.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Explore and implement AI-powered features, including LLM integrations and intelligent automation, to enhance product offerings and operational efficiency.
