Frontend Engineer – Angular / TypeScript
Sheffield (Hybrid)

We’re looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to join a Sheffield-based team delivering a new in-house colleague experience platform ahead of a December deadline.
The platform will replace an existing SaaS product and support workplace services including room, desk and parking bookings, facilities tickets, news, events, and catering.
You’ll work alongside mobile, backend, and QA engineers in Sheffield, as well as a wider development team in India.

- Build and enhance the platform using Angular and TypeScript.
- Create responsive, accessible, and reusable components.
- Integrate with C#/.NET APIs.
- Deliver well-tested, maintainable code.
- Improve frontend tooling, standards, and development practices.
- Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and delivery planning.
- Collaborate with teams across Sheffield and India.
Essential experience
- Strong commercial Angular and TypeScript experience.
- HTML, CSS, and responsive application development.
- REST API integration.
- Automated frontend testing.
- Modern development tooling and CI/CD.
- Ability to challenge existing approaches and improve engineering practices.
- Experience working in distributed teams.

Desirable experience
- C#/.NET integrations.
- Google Cloud Platform.
- Angular Material or similar component libraries.
- Workplace, facilities management, or booking platforms.
- Experience working alongside native Android and iOS teams.
