Senior ReactJS Developer
Job Type: Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) – Initial 6 Months
Location: Glasgow, UK (Candidates based in Edinburgh will also be considered)
Work Model: Hybrid – 2 to 3 days onsite per week
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior ReactJS Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of modern, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building responsive user interfaces using ReactJS and modern JavaScript, along with a solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and API integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality ReactJS applications.
- Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver business requirements.
- Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best development practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software.

Required Skills
- Strong experience with ReactJS.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with Redux or similar state management libraries.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS.
- Experience consuming REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Material UI or React Bootstrap.
- Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, or Enzyme.
- Good understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Familiarity with Node.js development environment.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Experience Required
- Minimum 4 years of professional ReactJS development experience.
