React Developer – £30,000 - £60,000 | Leeds
About the Role
I’m working with a fast-growing technology consultancy specialising in complex digital transformation projects across cloud, data, AI, and software engineering.
Following continued growth, they’re seeking a React Developer to join their expanding engineering team. This is an opportunity to deliver modern, user-facing applications, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to meaningful projects across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities
You’ll engage throughout the software development lifecycle, from designing responsive front-end applications to deployment and ongoing optimisation. Working closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders, you’ll help build secure, scalable, and accessible solutions using modern technologies.

Requirements
Essential Skills
- Commercial experience with React
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML & CSS
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or open-source databases
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Strong understanding of security best practices
- Interest or experience in AI model deployment
Desirable Skills
- Experience with AWS or OCI
- Knowledge of CI/CD and build tooling
- Familiarity with testing frameworks
- Expertise in Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or styled-components
- Awareness of accessibility and UX best practices
- Experience in mentoring or coaching developers
