About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join our client's forward-thinking technology team in South Manchester. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly alongside the CEO and senior leadership, actively shaping the company's technological direction and product development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing modern, responsive web applications that underpin the company's innovative digital finance solutions. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise and a proactive mindset. Essential qualifications include:
- Proven commercial experience developing applications with React.
- Strong familiarity with Supabase.
- Experience deploying applications using Vercel.
- Solid understanding of API integration and development.
- Proficiency in SQL databases.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Playwright.
- Programming with Python.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in collaborative, agile environments.
Desirable qualifications include:
- Experience working with AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
- Prior experience within fintech or financial services sectors.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern, responsive web applications using React, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Deploy and maintain applications using Vercel, ensuring smooth deployment workflows and uptime.
- Build scalable backend solutions with Supabase, including authentication, database management, storage, and backend services.
- Integrate internal and third-party APIs to enhance application functionality and data flow.
- Develop automated testing scripts and frameworks using Playwright to ensure application reliability and quality.
- Support backend services and automation tasks utilizing Python, contributing to overall system efficiency.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to manage and retrieve data effectively.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions aligned with business goals.
- Explore and implement AI-powered features, including integrations with Large Language Models (LLMs) and intelligent automation tools, to enhance product offerings and user engagement.
