About The Opportunity

What You Would Do

  • Developing and maintaining responsive user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Building reusable, well-structured components and managing state across applications
  • Integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Collaborating with backend engineers on API design and consumption
  • Participating in code reviews and contributing to frontend best practices
  • Optimizing application performance and ensuring cross-browser compatibility
  • Working within CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows
  • Contributing to the improvement of development processes and tooling

What You Could Bring

Must-have

  • Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous programming patterns
  • Experience with state management (Redux, Context API or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with frontend build tools and CI/CD pipelines
  • Competence with version control systems (Git)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or containerization concepts
  • Exposure to microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms
  • Experience with responsive design principles and accessibility standards
  • Understanding of performance optimization and web best practices
  • Exposure to testing frameworks and automated testing
