Frontend Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Frontend Engineer based in United Kingdom.

As a Frontend Engineer, you will contribute to building modern, high-quality web applications that deliver outstanding user experiences for a global customer base. Working within a collaborative product engineering team, you will develop new features, improve existing functionality, and help shape scalable frontend architecture using modern JavaScript technologies. This role offers end-to-end ownership of the development lifecycle, from understanding product requirements to delivering reliable, well-tested software. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams while continuously expanding your technical expertise in an environment that values innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. It is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys writing clean, maintainable code and making a meaningful impact in a fully remote, international workplace.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality frontend features using modern web technologies such as TypeScript and contemporary JavaScript frameworks.
  • Take ownership of the complete software development lifecycle, from reviewing requirements through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Break down development work into manageable tasks to support efficient, incremental delivery.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Optimize applications for performance, security, accessibility, and overall user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and leadership teams to build and improve product functionality.
  • Participate actively in code reviews by providing constructive feedback and promoting engineering best practices.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, share knowledge with teammates, and support collaborative problem-solving.
  • Help resolve blockers, contribute to project discussions, and occasionally mentor colleagues while continuing to develop your own technical skills.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
