Our partner, a leader in AI-powered automation, seeks a Frontend Engineer to design and implement high-performance, user-centric interfaces for transformative insurance workflows (quotations, policy issuance, claims, customer operations). This hands-on, product-driven role blends frontend development, UX design, and AI integration, where engineering decisions directly impact business efficiency and global user experiences.


About the Role

This high-impact position leverages React, Next.js, and TypeScript to build scalable, intuitive applications that bridge complex AI systems with human-friendly interfaces. You’ll collaborate across global teams—product managers, designers, backends, and operations—to solve real-world challenges in automation and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain modern frontend applications (customer-facing tools + internal AI ops) with Performance, Responsiveness, and Scalability at core.
  • Translate product requirements and UX designs into polished, high-performance interfaces, integrate frontend with backend APIs/AI services, and deliver end-to-end workflows.
  • Optimise frontend performance (lazy loading, caching, etc.), ensure scalability/reliability, and maintain code standards through code reviews and best practices.
  • Design and enforce component libraries and frontend architecture patterns (e.g., reusable UI systems).
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (PMs, QA, backends) to refine technical decisions and evolve tooling.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and Continuously Improve system resilience in data-heavy environments.

Requirements

Technical Expertise

  • Degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or self-taught equivalent).
  • Deep experience in React + TypeScript for modern Spartan development (3+ years).
  • Proficiency with Next.js (or comparable: Vue, Angular).
  • Strong command of HTML5/CSS3, responsive design, and component architecture.
  • Hands-on API integration (REST) and production debugging for performance/counter rate.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and agile/scrum workflows.
  • Passion for optimisation, debugging, and solving complex UXего problems.
