With a presence in the heart of the beauty industry, we are committed to fostering innovation, excellence, and community. At Phorest, we don’t just build software – we build success stories.

Our system touches every point of the salon experience. We have the in-salon software desktop application, Phorest Go (the native staff application), online bookings website for salons, and custom native apps per salon. In a typical month, Phorest processes 3 million appointments and we send over 3 million SMS and 4 million emails. We process 200k online bookings per month and over 150 custom built white label native apps.

The Opportunity

Phorest is expanding its Payments solutions, delivering both online and in-store payment experiences to thousands of businesses every day. As a Frontend Engineer in the Payments Pillar, you’ll play a key role in building intuitive, reliable, and high-quality user experiences that support our growing payments platform.

Working as part of one of the teams within the Payments Pillar, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA Engineers to deliver features that make payment experiences seamless for our customers. You’ll contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences, writing clean and maintainable code, and solving complex frontend challenges. You’ll have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, improve our frontend architecture, and contribute to engineering best practices while working on products that process millions of transactions every year.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
