Frontend Engineer (React)

£60,000–£70,000 + Equity (Current Indicative Value £100,000+)

Remote (UK/EU) | Permanent or Full-Time Outside IR35 Contract

Tech Stack: React, TypeScript, React Native, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, AWS, GitHub Actions, Claude AI & Cursor.

About the Role

Neulinx has partnered with one of the UK's fastest-growing AI startups that's changing the way people choose what to eat.

Already trusted by 360,000+ users, the platform is currently outranking Deliveroo and Uber Eats on the UK App Store and has partnerships with every major UK supermarket.

Following a successful £1.2 million pre-seed funding round, the business is entering an exciting new phase of growth. Their long-term ambition is to become the world's leading platform for food discovery and decision-making—helping millions of people answer one simple question: What should I eat?

With just five people in the company today, including a hands-on Founder/CTO, you'll become the third engineering hire, giving you genuine ownership and the opportunity to influence both the product and technical direction from day one.

The Opportunity

This is a frontend-first engineering role (around 70%) where you'll lead the development of a brand-new React web application, scheduled to launch within the next three months.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
