We are a first-mile intelligence platform, delivering granular visibility into the point of origin in global ag & soft commodity supply chains - where risk, cost, performance and exposure are set.
You’ll join a global, cross-functional team that values rigour, curiosity and working close to real-world challenges. Whether your focus is AI, climate, product or operations, you’ll have space to contribute meaningfully and make an impact from day one.
If you’re excited by complex problems and want to help reshape how nature is valued in real-world decision-making, we’d love to hear from you.
Role overview
You'll own features outright, deciding how to build them, building them, and shipping them — rather than waiting to be told what to do. Working alongside Chris and Liam on the platform team and directly with Product, you'll turn a large app backlog into shipped work, with genuine room to back your own judgement.
Who you are
- You can navigate and evolve the current React and TypeScript codebase, exploring the system unprompted from the start.
- You operate as a highly autonomous contributor within a dynamic, empowered team delivering independently and taking full ownership of your work.
- You bring senior-level judgement to feature work — taking a feature end to end and leading it through to delivery.
- You constructively challenge requirements and AI-generated work using real domain understanding, rather than taking instructions or output at face value.
- You thrive in a fast, changing environment — comfortable with rapid delivery and frequently shifting architecture.
Desirable requirements (if applicable):
- Familiarity with parts of our wider stack — Python, NestJS, MongoDB or PostgreSQL — useful for reading the broader codebase, though we train for these on the job.
- Background in shipping data-intensive, geospatial or risk-focused domains, with a preference for fintech or related complex environments.
- Comfortable in a Node-based environment, even where much of it is abstracted away day to day.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
- Own features end to end — from idea through delivery, working directly with Product to decide how to build, build it, and ship it.
- Innovation - empowered to innovate on new features and solutions, independent of product specific requirements.
- Read and evolve the existing React and TypeScript codebase — exploring the system unprompted, and finding and fixing bugs through to production.
- Shape the work with Product — turning business needs into your own feature ideas and tickets, and challenging requirements when something isn't worth building.
- Apply judgement to AI-assisted work — using real domain understanding to resolve bugs from descriptions or problem statements, and to catch when AI-generated code is heading the wrong way.
- Deliver at pace — staying productive as Treefera's architecture and infrastructure shift from month to month.
What success looks like
- Your first 30 days: get oriented in the codebase and the area around it, and start exploring the system unprompted. By 60 days you're making changes across the app with confidence. By 90 days you're going in and delivering changes independently. At six months you can find a bug, deliver the fix and roll it out on your own — adding throughput rather than needing it. By the end of year one you're handed work and run with it, and you're generating your own feature ideas and tickets straight off the back of business needs.
Who you’ll work with
You'll report to Chris Watts and work alongside Liam on the platform team, partnering directly with Product Management to decide what to build and to ship features end to end.
