Role: Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue)
Location: UK-based, able to be in London ~1x per month
This role is for UK based candidates, I will not have time to reply to applications from candidates outside of the UK.
Type: Permanent, individual contributor
We’re looking for a senior frontend engineer to take ownership of a large Vue application and lead a full Vue 2 → Vue 3 migration, while raising overall frontend quality and reliability.
What you’ll do
- Own and lead the Vue 2 → Vue 3 migration, including handling deprecations and breaking changes.
- Migrate state management from Vuex to Pinia and rationalise store structure.
- Replace deprecated/legacy UI dependencies (e.g. BootstrapVue) with a more modern approach.
- Improve structure, testing, performance and maintainability of the frontend.
- Work closely with product/design and marketing on a highly visual UI, plus take over the marketing site front-end longer term.
- Define your own work, manage delivery end-to-end, and operate with high autonomy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
