Fruit & Veg Team Leader

Team Leader – Fruit & Veg (Morrisons)

We’re only looking for Team Leaders to lead our Fresh Fruit & Veg teams, ensuring exceptional standards, reducing waste, and driving service excellence. If this inspires you, we’d love to hear from you.


** About the Role**

As Fruit & Veg Team Leader, you’ll:

  • Maintain high standards through:
    • Careful stock handling, date checking, quality/condition assessments, and rotation/storage processes to minimise waste
    • oversight of single stem fruit, garden centre, and plants & flowers departments
  • Lead a customer-focused team by:
    • Promoting a culture where colleagues deliver friendly, helpful, and outstanding service while keeping customers at the forefront
    • Actively encouraging team contributions through coaching and idea-sharing
  • Build a thriving department where:
    • Colleagues feel supported, recognised, and motivated through promotions and rewards for performance
    • Processes are continuously improved via data-driven analysis to:
      • Save time
      • Cut waste
      • Identify and address risks and solutions
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal obligations
  • Strengthen operational efficiency through reporting and vulnerability
